Sugar Beet Field

The Sugar Beet Cycle

Growing sugar beets is a labor-intensive process that requires precision from the first frost to the final truckload. Here is how we manage our crop.

Phase 1

Planting

We begin planting in early spring as soon as the soil temperature is just right. Using precision seeders, we ensure each beet has enough space to grow deep and wide, maximizing the sugar content in the root.

Caring & Irrigation

During the summer months, water management is key. We monitor soil moisture daily and utilize sustainable irrigation to keep the beets growing steadily. We also focus on crop scouting to protect the leaves from pests and disease.

The Harvest

In late autumn, the "Beet Campaign" begins. We use specialized harvesters to lift the beets, remove the tops, and load them into trucks heading for the processing plant. It's the most demanding—and rewarding—time of year.
